A chores auction is a really fun way to raise money for your team/cause/or school. The best part about this kind of fundraising even is it’s 100% free, so all of the dollars you raise can go toward your fundraising cause.
What you’ll need for your fundraiser:
The most important thing for this kind of fundraiser is, of course, a large team of volunteers. This kind of fundraising event works great for sports teams or athletic associations, and can be really fun for parents too.
How your fundraiser works:
Supporters of your fundraiser bid on chores they want done in their home. For example, cleaning the gutter, washing the car, or other household chores. Once your supporters bid at your chores auction, it will be up to them and your participants to schedule when the chores will be done. If you want to streamline things a little more, you can also have all a set date when all of the chores will be performed.Or, at your chores fundraiser, specify when your chores are going to be talking place so your volunteers can plan for it.
